This memorial to HMAS AE2, and particularly to Stoker Michael WILLIAMS, RAN, was erected by the Friends of Gallipoli in 2017, at Belemedik where Stoker Williams died as a prisoner of war in 1916. A similar plaque was unveiled at Dunkeld, Victoria, Australia, where he was born.
